Paint-a-Mug Workshop

A relaxed, colourful option that’s especially good for larger teams, workplace celebrations and creative wellness sessions. We bring pre-made ceramic mugs and everything your team needs to turn them into something completely individual.

Workshop Includes:

  • 2-hour guided session
  • Handmade/bisque-fired ceramic mug
  • Ceramic underglazes, brushes and tools

Hand Building With Clay Workshop

Get hands-on with clay and learn simple techniques including pinching, coiling and slab building. Everyone has the freedom to create something different, from dishes and planters to small sculptural pieces.

Workshop Includes:

  • 2-hour guided class at your workplace or event location

  • All tools, clay, glazes and protective table coverings provided

  • Up to two selected pieces per person taken for professional kiln firing

  • Finished pieces delivered back to your office.

Your Workshop, Guided by Emma

Hunter and the Fox was founded by Melbourne ceramicist Emma Wilson in 2015. With more than 10 years working with ceramics, Emma brings the same relaxed, hands-on approach behind Hunter and the Fox’s handmade pieces to every corporate workshop.

You don’t need to know anything about pottery before your class. Emma and her experienced team will guide the group through the process while leaving plenty of room for everyone to create something individual.

Each 2‑hour session includes:

  • All tools, clay or pre‑made mugs, glazes and table protection.

  • One piece per participant (or one‑two for hand‑building) selected for professional kiln firing and returned to your office.

You have two main options:

  • Paint‑A‑Mug Workshop – pre‑made bisque mugs, ceramic paints, brush guidance — ideal for creative breaks or larger teams.

  • Hand‑Building Workshop – participants learn pinching, coiling, slab‑building techniques to craft unique pieces (planters, dishes, sculptural forms) — no prior experience or wheel required.

No prior pottery experience is required. Both formats are designed to be inclusive and accessible for all skill levels, making them perfect for mixed‑ability corporate groups.

We’re mobile and flexible — we can accommodate teams of various sizes at your workplace or at a hired venue. Please enquire about maximum group sizes for your specific event. 

Classes begin from around $100 per person subject to location, group size, and choice of workshop format. Discounts are available for larger group bookings. 

After the workshop, one (or two) selected pieces per participant are professional kiln‑fired, and the finished works are delivered back to your office.

Pottery offers a tactile, screen‑free and creative break from ordinary work‑routines. It helps boost team collaboration, reduce work stress, spark innovation and build inclusivity—everyone can succeed regardless of prior experience.
